Bio and Favorite Things
Jesse Clark
Hi there, my name is Jesse, and I am the Nature and Science Teacher and lead the Workshop Wednesday groups at Abiding Hope Nature School. I started at Abiding Hope Nature School in August of 2024. I obtained a Master's of Social Work (MSW) with a focus in Ecological Justice from the University of Denver. I believe that it is important to use the Natural World around us as the primary teacher to help guide children to not only build a deeper connection with nature but also to learn the skills and tools they need as they progress through life. Creating an environment that is child-centered and play-based helps to build not only a positive learning environment where children are at the center of learning but also an environment that better fits the academic, social and emotional, and physical needs of children. Being able to create a safe space for children to grow their wonder and love for our Natural World is an awarding experience working at Abiding Hope Nature School.
