Bio and Favorite Things

Aloha! I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. I grew up working on my family's coffee and macadamia nut farm and spent my summers camping and fishing with my cousins and family. The love of the outdoors was part of my daily life.

I moved to CO in 2001, eager to explore. I sept a lot of time hiking, biking and snowshoeing. I discovered rock climbing and was hooked.

I just joined the Abiding Hope Nature School but come into Early Childhood Education with 43 years of experience. I am excited to help the children learn, discover and explore our environment around them.
