My name is Kyla, and I began my journey with AHNS in September 2023. I believe that creating a safe, inclusive environment is one of the most important parts of early childhood education. It’s in these spaces that young children can learn, grow, and become the best versions of their true selves.

I am INS certified, hold my Director’s Certificate, and am working toward completing my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education by 2026. These skills and experiences allow me to provide both structure and creativity in the classroom while supporting each child’s unique learning journey.

What I love most about teaching preschool is seeing the children grow each day—not just in their skills, but in their confidence and joy. The smiles they share when they walk through the classroom door remind me daily that we get to be a small but meaningful part of their story.

I am grateful to be on this journey and excited to continue building a welcoming classroom where every child feels supported, celebrated, and inspired to learn.
